So much possibility rumbles from this improvised collective-with Ms. Davis on piano, Ms. Laubrock on tenor saxophone, Mr. Sorey on drums, and all three contribute tunes-that you don’t have time to fixate on it’s free-jazz pedigree, or wonder who’s running the show.
